World traveling, homeschooling and everyday life are a great combination as long as there is somewhere to play! We always find playgrounds for the girls to run around and make friends! It’s a must in our travels! ⠀

This one was their favorite in Spain, it is in front of the palace and there is a gelato place a minute from here! That was a bonus for everyone!⠀

I love seeing how daring they get with their tricks in the swings. I was a total crazy pants when it came to swings and I feel grateful they don’t have the guts to do the same things I did! 😂😂 I am also grateful my mom never saw me or she would have died of a heart attack or killed me! 😁⠀

A family picture! I have been trying to use the tripod we had to have and carry everywhere! Taking pictures of everyone is sometimes crazy, “smile at the count of three” almost never works! 😂😂⠀

I remember everyone telling me when the girls where little how “kids grow so fast”, “Enjoy every minute with them”, “They leave home in a blink of an eye”.... IT’S HAPPENING!!! I see them and they are growing so fast! Too fast for my taste!⠀

So, even if I don’t get everyone smiling at the same time we will continue to take infinite amounts of pictures so when I am old and they are gone, I can look at their pictures and videos all the time!⠀

Vietnam was our designated stop for Halloween last

Vietnam was our designated stop for Halloween last year. Needless to say, it was not the same! The girls really missed all the traditions that come with fall and Halloween. ⠀

We tried our best to celebrate and it will go in the books as the year when we dressed up as each other, tricked or treated outside our hotel door and daddy got stuck putting underwear on his head and socks 🧦 on his ears because he got to be our dog! 🐶⠀
⠀
This year we went apple and pumpkin 🎃 picking made apple pie, eventually carved the pumpkins and had a normal trick or treating with hay rides!! It was back to normal and the girls got so much candy we keep enjoying it everyday. BUT, I have say... last years memories are one of the best!⠀

The how to of traveling with kids can not be explained in one picture but this one gives you a little of how we have adapted in our travels. I used to carry things for them in my back pack such as little toys and stuff to keep them busy at restaurants. We have decided that if they want to carry their trinkets they have to do it themselves! 😆⠀

In the morning we tell them how the day will work out and they decide if they need their things or not. They decide if they want to carry a backpack with their treasures or not. Honestly I was carrying too much and then sometimes for nothing. Ry found this amazing backpacks from @eaglecreek that literaly weigh almost nothing and are just the right size for them. (PACKABLE DAYPACK)⠀

I love the fact that they get to carry their own things and make their own choices as far as carrying things all day! ⠀
They have all carried too much or nothing at all, and both choices have been a mistake at different times! So it’s serious business thinking of bringing your backpack or leaving it behind! ⠀

These 2! Twins? No. They are 2 years apart BUT we get asked if they are twins ALL the time! Apart from their red hair, they are goofy and crazy and their imaginations run wild!⠀ They do have a lot in common and there have been times when even I confused them. ⠀

I am cursed! I hope it happens to most moms! I call the girls all of other names before I get to the one I need to call on. Please tell me its normal. ⠀
A psychologist once explained that a moms heart expands with the birth of every child, therefore the love she has for them is great and big for each of them. That is why she associates the siblings name for one another. Therefore, I can never call the girls the right name! ⠀

Homeschooling, world schooling, unschooling... whatever you call it. If you are a travel family like us, we hope you take advantage of the museums that each country has to offer to supplement your schooling. It’s super neat to talk about an artist and get to see their creations in real life!⠀

I have heard of different museums in different parts of the world and never imagine that I would have the opportunity to visit so many of them. Crazy!⠀

Here in Spain it has been wonderful, museums are free for everyone in the evening. Lines are long, but really- it’s free! In some museums kids are free even during the day! ⠀
